Rupert Read is the Green Party candidate for Cambridge (seen above with Caroline Lucas, Green MP for Brighton).
Rupert is a tremendously experienced Green candidate and his leadership will help make Cambridge become a force to be reckoned with at the election.
Rupert is a teacher of philosophy and the Green Party’s national Transport Spokesperson. He is also the chair of the think-tank ‘Green House’.
Rupert promised to a group gathered at King's College that he was setting out to win the election, and also to help get the Greens back into the City council.
With membership rising and with Rupert Read as the constituency candidate the party has a chance not only to rebuild, but to achieve some spectacular gains.
